Which paint stripper?

Hi peeps

We're heat gunning some wood panels to remove a lot of thick layers of gloss. The nooks and crannies and general staining means we need to use some paint stripper to tidy the finish.

Everyone used to reccomend Nitromors but when I looked up the price the reviews were universally negative, saying new formula doesn't work.

Do we have any alternate reccomendations?

Can you take the wood panels off and have them dipped?
i did that with 3 doors and they came back with little to no paint on them.

I use this stuff.

But its only good for taking off 1, maybe 1.5 coats at a time. Its messy, as with any paint stripper. In most cases I end up replacing the wood (door architraves and jams) because its quicker and not very expensive.

Any paint stripper will work but its time consuming. People want something that works first time, when it doesn't they give it a bad review.

So you could use paint stripper in conjunction with sanding.

Langlow Peelaway.

Best product I've ever used and far better than the solvent-based strippers. I did all my woodwork and plaster cornicing with it.
