Hi all

looking at changing my current case to a Phanteks one but stuck between 2...

Phanteks P300 & Phanteks P400... If anybody could point out the differences and also list any pros and cons that would be much appreciated..

my specs:

Gigabyte MATX B450
BeQuiet PSU
2x 120gb SSD's

I will add maybe a 1TB HDD in coming months and will definitely be buying a AIO as at the moment I have 2 intake fans and 1 exhaust fan

cheers

if you have a matx board, why not go for a smaller matx case.

but to answer your question directly - i'd probably go for the p350x instead tbh

What case would you recommend for MATX... I do like the P350X with the lighting it looks great

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £351.77 (includes shipping: £31.86)

antec dp301m is new on the market, so no reviews yet, also don't know about build quality. but just visually inspecting it...it looks semi-decent with decent airflow. so it's recommended with caution.
nzxt h400 (non-i) can be had for £90 - not on sale at ocuk. but the h400i is £100 on discount at ocuk, so an extra tenner for the smart controller gimmick if you think that's worth it.

yeah I think the Fractal or the p350x is going to be the choice tbh... Im guessing the Fractal case has mesh on the front sides to let air in

define has air vents on the sides of the front panel. a bit restrictive, but you gain noise dampening at the expense of heat
meshify has a full mesh front panel, so a bit noiser but cooler internals

I have the p350x and its really nice for the price. If you have a board with a argb header you can fully control the rgb strips in the case.

P350X is probably the best choice out of all the cases mentioned here. P300 is a decent entry level option, but for a little more, the P350X has several more desirable features.

Antec Cases Currently on weekly ,, would be a no brainer for me . I have the P110 in my living room , the build quality is better than any thing phanteks has in that price range

The P8 looks the better out of those ones IMO... I think im going to go for the P350X as it looks great with the RGB effect... Thanks for all the input :)

Great write up cheers bud.... Now i really am stuck for choice after that... I may need a few PC's.. im like a woman with handbags when it comes to PC cases
haha I know that feeling. every week I have to stop myself from buying a case on weekly deal

just tell her you'll let her buy a handbag for every case you buy.
either you stop buying cases or she'll be very happy :P
win-win
