Which Pizza?

See, I'm a huge Dominos fan.

But, my local Dominos is annoying me. They are the most expensive Dominos Pizza franchise in the world, with the possible exception of the Dominos Pizza in Kabul.

They are at least £2 per Pizza more expensive than every other Dominos in the country.

So the issue - do I be principled and sample other Pizza, or stick with Dominos?

The choices..

Perfect Pizza
Dominos Pizza
Pizza Hut (Who have crap offers so I cba with them)

Is Perfect Pizza any good?

I love Dominos Pizza, sure they're expensive but they're also bloody lovely! I've never had a perfect pizza so can't comment on those but Dominos > Pizza hut.

We had Dominos this evening, Texas BBQ and Pepperoni Passion /drool

£15.99 for a pizza that you have to pick up yourself?! I went to a nice french bistro last night and paid £14.95 for a nice bit of venison steak, thyme and garlic mash and caremelised parsnips. Gorgeous, and you get served properly, proper food, nice wine.. kinda puts things in perspective why would you want to get a takeaway at that price?

Why? Because there's nowhere like that around here!! :p That dinner sounds lovely though

I've found home made pizzas to be suprisingly good (and simple).

Get a simple mixed cheese base from Sainsbury's or whatever along with your own toppings like ham, mushrooms, peppers etc. No proper cooking required, just bung toppings on and in the over for 10mins. A lot nicer than frozen pizza and a lot cheaper than takeaway.

To be honest it's not much more effort that browsing a menu, picking up the phone/going out to the pizza joint, explaining to some Polish guy 3 times exactly what you want and then waiting around / travelling home.

Making food from scratch = effort.
Chopping a few bits up, dropping on a pre-made base and slotting in the oven = 3min job.

I am one of the laziest people I know when it comes to cooking, but even I can manage that :)
