Im building a new system, just need to find a decent power supply.

I have a max budget of £72 for the PSU (Inc VAT).

(I'm not intrested in hardware changes to my current spec)

Cosair - 550w or 650w.

Additional: you only need a DDR3 dual channel kit for an AM3 build - e.g. link.

EDIT: Also you may want to pre-order Win 7 for ~£60 and use the RC version until it's release - far cheaper and far superior to Vista.

Win7 has been pretty extensively tested due to the open beta - in fact it is an evolution of Vista so all views I have read thusfar (and experienced myself), suggest it is more stable.

"Out of Stock"

It was an example just to point out that you can get dual channel kits for the AM3 MB. Kingston/Corsair would be fine.

And the above.

If you try running that tri channel kit on AM3 platform, it will only run in single channel mode.

You should find a dual channel kit instead like these.

This OCZ PSU should be just fine for that system
