its perfect.

shows the complete power draw for a Intel i7 system and various cards, under full load using a stress program called Furmark.

a GTX470 and GTX465 share the same PCB and power circuitry etc, some GTX465 have been able to un-lock into a GTX470 as they are almost identical.

doesnt matter, just means it will cope with even bigger cards.

what is the make and model of this 650w psu?

What do you mean? What is my budget?
Also how much power should I leave for the rest of PC? So if Graphics card uses 400 out of 500 is 100 enough for Mobo and hdd etc?

the 400w is the WHOLE PC as measured from a wall socket.

And what i mean by where does the spending stop? is, the bequiet will be perfect, you dont need to spend nearly £30 more for a 650w psu.

My budget for psu is about £60 I think LOL.

Also I mean do I only need to get a PSU that can cope with graphics card?
For example if I get a graphics card that uses 450watts and my PSU did 500 would I need to get a bigger PSU to power rest of PC or would the 50watts left from the PSU cover that?

are you sure you want a gtx465? that's like the worst card i could think of.

isn't the gtx650ti a better choice?

as said stick with a good brand and keep a eye for efficiency.

that will use a lot less power than the graphs above do, AMD systems use a lot less power, so instead of 400w total, thats more 300-350 watts total.
