Hey, well my specs are in my sig apart from

I'm getting a new crucial m4 for the OS for Xmas and I'm gonna be getting the msi ati 6979 twin frozr 2gb card for my birthday at the start of January

Been looking at new power supply's as my one is just a cheap corsair 500w

What power supply would be best, don't wanna spend over £100

Was looking at this one http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-007-LA&tool=5

Are there any that yous would suggest to be the best? Want a decent one that'll last

Thanks

That one would be OK, but you dont need 850W, 650W would be plenty, also have a look at the XFX XXX editions and Antec TruePower ones, very good and reasonably priced

Get a shortlist, then check them out on reputable review sites, like JonnyGuru, and see which scores best in each category and decide which you prefer, some have better noise, some better voltage regulation, some better price. Only you can really decide which matters most, but youve got a mini shortlist to be going on with

I quite like the look of that 750 one posted

I have been under the impression I'd need a beefy like 800w at least to power that graphics card after reading it somewhere, thanks for clearin that up

Would a 750 one do if I was to get another graphics card to xfire in the future?

Yeah I know about the mobo, gonna be replacing that later next year I reckon

Double checked that 750 watt one and it's only part modular, and I'm wanting fully modular and the one I posted looks what I need

Eh I'll double check when I get in, it's a cheap one as it needs molecular connectors for most things

I know it's not fully modular but it's more modular than the 750 one I looked at, other one had sata connectors an everything hardwired in, least the one I posted only has the mobo and another necessary cable when I checked it out.
