I have Inter Core i5-9400F 6cores up to 2.90GHZ CPU actually, but I thinking about change this for Inter Core i3-10100 4cores up to 4.3GHz but I don't know which is better and is it worth replacing at all. Prize for i3 is lowest for new one, but I don't know how many my i5 will be cost after a test of use.

No, I want only this information because my friend told me that I should replaced my i5 to i3 so I just thinking about this suggest. I useing my computer only for playing games and when I saved some money I started think abut this. Thank you so much again :)

The i3-12100 is faster than the 9400, but I don't think either the 10100 or the 12100 would be worth it, not to replace a 9400 (and as stated, they wouldn't fit anyway).

The Intel Core i5-9400F is a great processor for most tasks, and it should be able to handle most of your needs. However, if you are looking for a processor that can handle more intensive tasks, such as gaming or video editing, then the Intel Core i3-10100 may be a better choice. The i3-10100 has a higher clock speed and more cores, which can help with multitasking and performance. The price difference between the two processors is not too significant, so it may be worth upgrading to the i3-10100 if you need the extra performance.
