Which PS3 games?

Howdy folks, long time reader of the console forums, first time poster!

I've had a PS3 since release day, and have played for at most 2 hours on it, pathetic i know! I have been religiously a PC gamer, come part-time xbox gamer - yet as far as consoles go my heart has always rested with sony!

Now, the games that i had with it were just Resistance : FoM - which i have obviously nowhere near completed, and FEAR - which was absolutely abysmal compared to the PC version.

What games can i get to rekindle my love for sony, in waiting for the likes of MGS?

My brother is an Xbox fanatic, and has the majority of the latest Xbox games, DMC, Burnout paradise, GTA4, UEFA Euro 2008, Assasins creed etc, all of which i have played a little bit, but want something i can get stuck into on the PS3.

After enjoying the demo i've bought Heavenly Sword from ebay for cheap, and will sink my teeth into that at some point today or tomorrow.

Well chaps, give me some ideas on what to look out for :)
 
Uncharted should be a post-haste purchase

My favorite games (aside from uncharted) are actually PSN games. Super stardust, pixeljunk monsters and Warhawk are well worth having a look at (and quite cheap too).

MGS4 is only a month away, which i am so eager to get into considering how great MGO was.

Haze is out in a couple of weeks, imo the demo had potential but it's been widely panned so keep and eye out for reviews.

Those are some truly huge games to come, RE5 and FC2 will be huge!

Never even heard of Uncharted, i'll have a read up on it :)

Have oblivion, cod4, ut3 on the PC - but GT5 and warhawk i will look in to :)
 
Get yourself Tekken Online and get playing it online. It's great fun.

My favourite games are Uncharted, Which i only played for a few hours, and haven't played since, And I actually crave it :(

Ratchet and Clank - 'Great Crash Bandicoot/Jack and Daxster/Spyro' type next gen fun.

Warhawk, Didn't really play it much, but when I did I loved it. My friend is royally addicted though :D
