I’m currently looking at a new build.
Motherboard, PSU and Memory is now alien to me 12 years later.
Currently i7 2600k and Vega 56 build.
I’m thinking of a 5900x and a 3080 or up card.
I was looking at 850W and hoped this would be sufficient to future proof. I will only ever run one Graphics Card, but may opt for the 3080Ti (can’t be bothered changing thermal pads on 3090)
What would be a decent PSU that will last? I was looking at the RM850 and RM850x, but seen so many threads with the RM850 and white smoke worries me. I dont want a house fire if I leave the PC on with a bit of mining if on holiday.
