it'll be powering an e6300 on a DS3 and an x1800xt, should be powerful enough?

I cant comment on if there powerfull enough to run that setup but I did pick myself up a OCZ while they were on a this week only special. (shame you missed a great deal there) and they seem to be faultless, realy quiet, nice blue glow and UV cables thrown in for good measure. Hoping to get many years of service from mine

I have a Hiper 480 watt powering my X2-4600+ and HIS 1900XT with no probs so you will be fine.
