Mobo Question below

Hi

heres a spec but im not sure which psu to pick
Either
Seasonic S12 Series 430W ATX2.0 PSU With PCI-E Power Connector £46
Corsair 520w £68

The seasonic is cheaper which is why i want to go for that, but will it be enough to power the following spec. Will not be overclocking.

ill probably go for seasonic - budget reasons

question. as far as i have read the main difference from atx 2.0 to 2.2 is the effiency. Is there anything else?

Also i guess if 430w is enough for my spec then 520w isnt needed right? :)

Yes, in your case the only reason you would go for the corsair is if you value its modular cables. Btw, you may or may not be aware but seasonic are currently rolling out version 2 models of their s12 line, the main features of which are listed in this pdf. I'm sure OCUK have every intention of stocking them but until then...well...I'll say no more.

I am using the p5n-e and i havn't had any troubles with it, it's a great clocker and isn't stupidly expensive,

I chose the board because of my hatred for my old gigabyte board and i am glad i did

cool i may go for it then!

@hp7909 . that P35 DS3R has no onboard firewire connector as far as iv read. ???

You did mention it. I was going to recommend the evga 650i ultra as it's even cheaper than the asus p5n-e but then I saw you wanted onboard firewire support :)
