Hi

I'm after a new PSU for my main rig. I'm upgrading from my trusty old Enermax 365W as I may want to crossfire another HD card in the future. I've had two offers which I can't decide on: -

BNIB Zalman 600W HP - £65inc

OR

Used (5 months) ANTEC Quattro 1000W - £75

I know the Antec is a really good price, but, do I need that much power for a crossfire system or would it be wiser as it'll offer more future proofing?

I'd be more tempted to go for the Brand New Zalman. No-one needs 1000W, plus by the time you do, your PSU will be so old that you'll upgrade it anyway. 600W is plenty for Crossfire. Are you using the 3870XT?

Thermlatek Toughpower 650. I've got the 750 one and it's best PSU i've ever had. It's so silent that when i first booted it up i thought it didnt start on and then went to check the cables ;S.

Corsair TX 650W ATX2.2 SLi Compliant PSU This Week Only Offer
was £64.99 ex vat

By what ive read on these forums you cant go wrong with this psu.
