Starting to think about a new build and need some advice on a PSU

2 X Geforce gtx275 and 1 X Geforce 8800gt all OC'd= 5 X PCIe connectors required

What modular PSUs have 5 PCIe connectors and will have enough "juice to run this type of setup Rest of build would probably be i7 920 OC'd 6 or 12 GB RAM depending on budget 2X500GB HDD and 1XDVDRW?

These two seem to fit the bill but is this over kill - is there something cheeper?

Any decent 800W+ PSU should be fine, most will only have 4 PCIe connectors, but using a molex to PCIe adaptor would be fine for the 5th.

Be Quiet! 850w (out of stock atm)

Any of those should be more than sufficent, with a bit of overhead.
The Antec and PC P&C stand out.

I've got the BeQuiet! 850W and gotta say it's a fantastic piece of kit. And it is also really really quiet. I like it's direct fan connection feature - plug 4 case fans into the PSU directly and saves cables running onto the mobo, plus any connected fan (along with it's own built-in one) runs on for 3mins after shutdown for extra cooling - which I reckon is a great feature, especially after a heavy Crysis session!

The 1000W one would be a very good buy imo. :)

Corsair tx850 user here and very happy with it not noisy and rock steady so far also they are a bit cheaper then some other comparables. Cable lengths are good to help keep the wires hidden and plenty of all types of connector for normal use despite being the cheapest of the three i doubt you'd go wrong getting one unless you absolutely have to have a modular one :).

Yeah, the Antec Signature Premium is pretty much one of the best around, only the Seasonic M12D is really comparable.

And the 850W ver Seasonic costs even more and is out of stock. (why I didn't list it)

Ultimately it's down to how much you want to spend, all the PSU so far listed here will do want you want. :)
