going for i3 build but in 2 months will either get i7 860 or i5 750, also will get 5850 card, might go XFIRE in future, but would like a future proof PSU so if i decided to go xfire i could without worrys.

So guys which one? Then i can order ...

Corsair HX750 or 850.

They're cracking PSU's, I recently got the 850 as an RMA replacement for a borked Be Quiet Dark Power Pro, and it's a brilliant PSU, loads better than the Be Quiet.

The finish on the unit is excellent to.

To the first post, is 650w going to be enough?

To the second, i was actually looking at the 750w corsair HX, thought i would ask incase there are cheaper options out there of similar quality

So there is no performance benefit from TX to HX PSUs just less cable mess ( really i couldnt care less about that )

agreed, HX just lets you use cables you only need through plugging them into the PSU itself, TX means tucking away the one's you don't wanna use as they are all attached.

BTW - Corsair *** !! 640 TX or HX should be fine
