Differnt Ram timings and Speeds?

Ive been reading about and i fight thought ooo yeah get 8500 because i can afford it.

But, although i can definitly afford it. Ive been reading about and people keep saying you wont benefit from using it?

So if you wont benefit, why do they sell it?

Secondly. Which 800mhz ram should i get? But... people always say, get this ram because you can overclock it to 1000mhz+ ... but whats the point if i wont benefit from it?

You see, im getting confused. Im always seeing people say buy this ram because you can over clock it to 1000mhz or what ever. But then people saying you dont need it?

I dont really want to spend more then around 100 quid, as you can see in my spec. The ram i was gona get is 99 quid and it looks pritty nice. But do you guys think there is no need what so ever for me to buy this ram?

And finally, do you think i would achuly get better performance out of 800MHz ram with lower timings?

Thanks :)
