Which rgb fans are silent?

Thanks i just had a look and the be quiet lightwings 120mm are £22 or £55 ish with a hub

Is there light output good and can they be controlled to drop the speed??

Didnt understand how these fans could be vs the ones i got now

Ok i read they can be controlled because it looks like they plug into the mobo for power

But whats the purpose of the hub? Does that act as a central point for the argb cables?

So i guess i could use that hub to connect even rgb light strips too

Looks good but it is pricey
Might wack a camel camel camel on there

Yeah the pwm version can be controlled from your motherboard. You won't get migraine inducing levels of brightness, but I got a good amount of light from a single fan.

The hub is used if you havent got enough rgb headers on the motherboard. Also helps with cable management

Here is a build I did for a friend in 2023 using lightwings. This is their default colour

And finally the colour theme he wanted.

there a nice fan but for the cost they don't look as premium as others.
the D30 been 30mm also have very good air flow, and the lian li are a 28mm with aluminum hubs.

the 2 fins lock together for a seamless RGB affect.

if you going to pay £55 for a fan with a hub... you can get 3 lian li with a hub for £20 more, or 3 phanteks that dont need hub again for only £20 more

only you can decide on priority. I only have 1 Bequiet in my system and when ran slow, it’s completely silent. You can adjust the brightness but I don’t like rgb to be too bright. I can only really comment on the sound as that’s my only priority.

lian li unifans

this is what i have right now. i think the RGB on the D30 is better but the lian li do look very good and its very simple to control everything.
you can set the rad fans to follow CPU temp and the intake to follow GPU temp i do like this option.

For sure, the ones with the LED screens also look pretty sweet and seems useful to have system info at a quick glance
