Which router to max 80 quid?

More expensive than the comparable TP-Link model (Archer C8) whilst offering worse performance across the board according to SmallNetBuilder. Both have the same main disadvantage (no VPN server).

Personally would spend the extra to get the Archer C8, but the C5 would be fine too.

As for being "good at streaming 720p movies", frankly even the worst of routers will be able to do that without any problems. Reliably at anything beyond fairly short distances? Probably not.
