Which rpg to play to many to chose

I've just started The Witcher 2 for about the fourth time. Gave it a bit of a chance and stuck with it this time around, and it's finally drawing me in. The only problem with it is that on easy, it's no challenge at all, but on normal some of the fights are just bloody annoying.

Great story and characters though.

Of your list I'd say Ni no Kuni and The Witcher 2 would be the ones I'd most highly recommend - both terrific games in their own ways, and Ni no Kuni is a real gem in a genre that has been seen as growing stagnant.

well my 2 cents

FallOut 3 (GOTY) one of the best games i have ever played
Witcher 1-2 GREAT gameS
Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic 1-2
Skyrim + Oblivion (Awesome Games)
Kingdoms Of Amalur (Im currently playing this and enjoying it awesome game)
Dragon Age 1+2 (brilliant game is the first one the second is OKAYISH)
Mass Effect 1+2+3 (BEST action 3rd person RPG i have ever played)
Two Worlds Two (awesome graphics and good rpg game)

Dark Souls... You will not be dissapointed. Prepare to feel alone, weak and generally on edge.

You might play for 5 hours straight without a hitch, thinking "pshhh, this is getting easy" then BAM, you make a mistake and you spend the next 3 hours sorting it out haha.

This.

OP if you have a PS3 as well (which I'm guessing you do as you listed Ni no Kuni) you should get Demon's Souls in addition to Dark Souls.

Id say witcher 2 and dark souls are definately worth a look, or for something different path of exile. Its an amazing loot fest arpg that doesnt hold your hand.

Oooooooo! Good spot, they are both equal in my opinion, Dark souls is more open in most places, and demon souls is more closed, but much darker and creepier.

Get them both, I will buy a crate of beers, DS session!!!! haha. Nothing more fun than blitzing a char through like I did this afternoon just for fun. After knowing all the shortcuts, it still excites me! Even the first black knight you can choose to face, heart was pounding!

1) Finished all parts of Mass effect 1-2-3 - can recommend 100% (great story + you can continue story in line by paste' saves)
2) finished witcher 2- however can't see myself playing second time.

Never got in to Follout 3 (tried 3 times).

Now playing Darksiders 2 and love it, however can't name it as big RPG game!

For me it would be between Skyrim and The Witcher 2. So far I find The Witcher 2 is a more complex game with more in depth mechanics compared to Skyrim.

Wonder if I'm the only person who loved The Witcher but but was seriously non-plussed by Witcher 2?

I wouldn't say non-plussed, but I do think it is overrated and greatly preferred the first one. I didn't like the environments in chapter 2 and 3(which was far too short) and wasn't a big fan of the way it split the story after chapter 1.

After leaving Flotsam I thought I was in for the best game ever made...but it was all anti-climactic after that.

i played witcher 2 and enjoyed the game a lot up to flotsam also bu tthen after that i got bored nad never went back to it, 2 paths to do as well oh well. should i drop it? the best bits have been?
