Which Ryzen for Gaming?

m looking to chamge my 1700, but the doesnt seem to be any value in amd atm, tempted to go down the intel route which ever will be used condiition i only use for gaming n browsing, would a 10600k be a decent choice, or anything else?

You can slip a 5600X in to your current mobo, and it's a fair bit faster than the 10600K.

If you want to keep your cpu a decent length of time, then you want 8 cores if you ask me. Shame the 8 core Ryzen is really poor value :(

That's my feeling. Nothing in the 5000 series seems to offer much value when you're over £300 for a 6 core CPU. Depressing when you could buy a 3600 for under £150 at the start of the year IMO.

CPU prices are ridiculous at the moment. I'd recommend holding off until supply catches up with demand after Xmas.

Pretty much what i want to do.

Want to go ITX, want a 5800X or 5700X (if that releases), want a NR200 (out of stock), and a SF750 (Out of stock).

Just going to wait until spring i reckon.
