thinking of buying a sat nav system for the motor, so confused by all the different systems, as tom tom have 50% of market is it best to go for this ans then which one? i sometimes go to france so it would be handy to use in foreign climes

I've dropped mine a couple of times and it still works perfectly...

We have two Tomtom One's and both seem really well built?

TomTom One TBH. If you go off- route it recalculates very quickly, It's cheap, there's a ton of new POI's you can put in and its routing logic seems very good- especially if you decide to avoid a certain road mid- journey :)

Im getting the TomTom ONE next monday when I get paid, from what ive read and what everyone has said on here its a good solid unit... and if you know where to look, you can get it quite cheap... im buying mine for just over £200

Can you qualify that statement?

We have had all the different models of TomTom at work and we havent had one that hasnt fell apart or went bang and decided not to work anymore, took us 2 months to get one replaced aswell.

You get similar reports all the time from the TomTom forums.
