I have 3 Compaq SCSI HDDs that I rescued from a defunct server in our office. I'm planning to sell them off but I want to clear any data on them first.
My PC doesn't have a SCSI interface so I'm going to get a cheap PCI card. However, I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to SCSI and there seems to be a huge variety of adapters available.
The drives I have are 36.4Gb HP Wide Ultra320. I want an adapter that'll just let my WinXP PC format the disks. Can anyone let me know what I'm looking for (or am I making a mountain out of a mole-hill)?
