"Do you Yahoo?"
"Where do you want to go today?"
Those were the questions of the late 1990s. Yahoo was the biggest back then, although no clear cut winner as AltaVista, Infoseek, AOL, Excite, Lycos, HotBot, Ask Jeeves, Dogpile (and so on) were all popular choices.
Maybe also say when you first got online, just for kicks
For me, 1998 (home) and 1999 (uni, with my first PC). I was an Infoseek kid, liked the fact that you could drill down your results. For images though, I preferred Google's image search over other engines. Infoseek eventually got bought out and ceased, and I finally moved to Google for general web queries.
Any AOLers still kicking about?
