HI, just in the process of putting my first build parts in the order "basket". I will be getting amongst other things:

2 x HD-083-SE Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 400GB ST3400620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD-083-SE)

MB-062-GI Gigabyte GA_965P_DS4 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-062-GI)

Lian Li s80b

This will be my first time with SATA. I see OC recommends Akasa SATA cables http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/SATA_Cables.html#acb_2d014_2dak

... so I assume I need 2 sets? Which size should I get, 45cm, 60cm or 100cm?

Hope someone can reply quickly coz I need to order before bed LOL.

However long you need? :p Mine are all 45cm as that's all I need but you could get 60cm to be safe (though I very much doubt you'd need this much). It all depends on orientation of the motherboard and the position of the hard drives. Look at the distance and order accordingly.

Check the layout of your case and your motherboard. i.e. check where your hard drives go and where your SATA connectors are on the mobo. Most of the time you can get away with having the smallest one.

EDIT: Do'h, beaten :o
