Which Slim Rads?

also what do you mean by high static pressure? i though that to get those silm rad to work to there best is to have high RPM fan with high air flow, or am i wrong? sorry being a noob...

Kind of. High airflow will mean high CFM figures but this is just how much air it can push with no resistance against it. You need fans with high static pressure which will mean they can push that air against resistance. With slim rads the fins are very close together so need the high pressure to get the air through.

It also sounds like your having (from top to bottom) Mesh -> Rad -> fans, you can with a little modding of the mesh, namely trimming the sides down have it Mesh -> fans -> rad and this will mean you can use normal ones rather than slim. Simply screw the the fans to the rad with short screws and then on the other side of the fans use short screws to attach the mesh to the case - Done this myself (well the mesh was done by a competitor for me)

Thank PaulyD, yes my plan is to have it mesh > rad > fans, so the fans blowing the hot air out of the case, now the way you have the mesh > fans > rad, is that to have the fans pull the hot air out of the case? or blowing the air back in the case?

You can have either push or pull tbh though I had pull on the fans so it extracted the heat through the mesh - can't really give you too much info on how well this worked as the rad in the roof only went in when i added the gpu to my loop (went from cpu, nb/sb PA120.3 loop to cpu, nb/sb, gpu PA120.3 and Black Ice GT 240)

I would however prefer having strong 120mm fans in pull than weak slim line fans in push myself. Would really need testing to see if there is a significant difference though

Thank everyone here with the advices, i have decided to have the triple rad mount done, and also some color change to the case, will let you guys know when i get the case back, it will take a few weeks, but i think it will worth it..

Thank again for everyone who had helped me out with the advices given, Thank again

Best Regards
Tony
