Which SQL Server Version

Hi all - am a bit confused as to what SQL Server version I should tell my employers to buy.

It's for a despatch and accounts system. Very low usage, probably only 8 employees accessing the system in total.

I envisage adding a feature to enable clients to log in to order online but again, this won't be a huge number.

Is it possible to use SQL Server Express or do I need to use the Workgroup or Standard version.

Thanks.

Yes, just use 2005 Express as its very easy to upgrade down the line to 'big' SQL if you find you outgrow it. Its a very capable product indeed.

For that then it sounds like you don't even need SQL Server. You could do most of that with MS Access.

Any of the versions of SQL server will work for you if you really want to go down that path, you could even go back to one of older versions e.g. SQL Server 2000 as you may be able to find one of those cheap on ebay or similar.
