Which ssd for £200...

really want to get an ssd, i have about £200 to spend, thinkign about getting this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-002-CR&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=910 , unless anyone can recommend soemthing better for my money??

Any Suggestions, would be much appreciated

The intel 80GB model is within your budget too, it has a very good reputation.

the "write" is considerably worse though

True, I'm not sure how often sequential write performance is really strained though - would it not just be when writing large files to the disk? I personally don't do this very often, so probably wouldn't be an issue.

Don't worry about it, sequential writes hardly ever come into play.

I recently bought the 80gb Intel. Two reasons.

The extra 16gb capacity for an extra £35, comapred to the 64gb models - enough room for an extra game or two, or a few smaller apps.

The good reports and reviews for this SSD.

It certainly has given my PC a nice boost in performance.

Precisely, random writes are far more important, and this is where the Intel SSD is king.

Also note that once formatted the usable capacity is even less 74.4GB(80GB) and 59.6Gb(64GB) so definitely I`d get the Intel.
