So I'm going to order a G870 from Kobalt, and I need help deciding which SSD to include in my build. I will be using it for games.

My options are (restricted by Kobalt):

-160GB Intel Gen2 (£265)
-120GB OCZ Vertex Turbo (£306)
-250GB OCZ Vertex (£555)

I want at least 320GB of space, which I could get either by combining two SSDs or one SSD and a regular HD.

Price isn't too big of a concern, but I don't want to do something stupid.

Please advise the smartest move :)

I would just get a Intel Gen2 80GB for windows and regular 500GB 7,200rpm SATA-II HD for games and storage.

An ssd in laptops makes a lot of sense, low power useage is a real bonus. Go for the intel, solid drive.

I just installed an 80GB intel Gen2 on desktop. Great drive, very happy with it. Can't compare to others but I'm very happy with it.

SSD as above deffo good idea for lappy. will be nice and quick, less heat, less power consumption.

As above really I would just get the 80GB cos it doesnt affect gaming much at all but ur OS will fly...

Going to get the X-25M for my laptop too in a couple of weeks, have heard great things about them.
