Which SSD for White Macbook?

As per title -

What SSD would you guys recommend for my White Macbook?

I've been considering this one:

Is it a case of installing it as you would a standard HDD? i.e. format in the same way and will it fit straight into the HDD bracket?

Yep, they are no more or less difficult to install. The only thing you have to worry about is TRIM support but there isn't much you can do about that anyway.

I've got the 120gb Vertex LE version of that one in my my white MB, it's a great combo.

Hmm not really they are not all made equally, but the one you linked to is fine. I'd ask in the hard drive forum for specific advice though.

If you're not desperate, the longer you hold on the more GB/£ you'll get but if 60GB will do you then go for it.

Tbh the coolest mod / practical thing to do is whip out the disk drive, and put a hdd mounting bracket in there, seen on iFixit, doesnt harm the slot, and add a second drive to your macbook , i'm planning on doing that when my macbook starts to feel tired on me.
