Was about to order the Intel 320 Series 80GB 2.5" SATA-II 25nm Solid State Hard Drive when I noticed someone posted on one of my threads on which SSD to go for, suggesting this, the OCZ Vertex 2E Bigfoot 120GB 3.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive.
So, is there any reason for me not to switch to the OCZ from the Intel?
The OCZ seems to have the better specs in every category and has an extra 40GB, for pretty much the same price. Plus it's on offer atm.
Only asking as I've just had a hard drive that didn't quite work perfectly with my system, and so that's what drew me to the Intel SSD as it's the same brand as my CPU, which might be complete rubbish and I shouldn't be even worrying about it, but as a bit of a newbie I just want everything to fit together nicely.
My PC currently is:
Intel Core i5-2500K (will be OC'd @ 4.5 / 4.7 GHz)
Asus P8P67 Intel P67 Motherboard
Asus GeForce GTX 480 1536MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
XFX Pro 650W Core Edition Power Supply
Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Zalman Z9 Plus Tower Case With Fan Cooler
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
So should I go for the OCZ then?
Thanks in advance.
