Which SSD would be best?

God damn mate, that's a lot of SSD's you've got there!!! :eek:

I read that review where they used software RAID setup, and the results were kinda strange on that one, but there is also another review on PC Perspective where they have the drives running in RAID0 off the ICH10R on an X58 setup, and the results seemed to be much better..

I'm looking forward to xmas day now, I love getting new toys!!!

my Birthday is just around the corner as well, so it's gonna be fun times for me over the next month!!

How many drives were used in that tests above?

what are the Kingston SSDNow V 128GB like?
found somewere selling them for £174 with hdd caddy for your old hdd

Those are the ones that use the J-Micron controller, I read they have problems with stuttering, although there is firmware that is supposed to address this issue according to this review.

I've still seen a few people complain about these drives, even after the revisions - so I'm totally unconvinced. Even if they don't stutter they are slow drives, but obviously what they do have going for them is that they are cheap.
