Which SSD?

Should I go for the GSKILL Titan 128gb for £240 or the 60gb summit series for £190?

The answer seems straightforward, but apparently the GSKILL Titan doesnt have any onboard cache.

Is this to its detriment?

Get neither. Consider the Falcon, Agility, and (similarly priced) Samsung - all around £150. Or if you want to spend a bit more, wait for the Vertex Turbo (unless it's out already).

get a G-Skills Falcon 128gb .....very happy with mine

You will be very UNHAPPY with any of those drives as they use the horrid JMicron controler.
Spend a bit more and get a Falcon or Agility.

I recommend the falcon also, very good drive and not had any problem with mine yet.
