Yes no doubt it will be obsolete next week but im going to get one anyway for my new D800 build.
So which ? just for boot drive .. 2tb of samsung storage already got ;)

Well 100gb would be nice but i dont think its really needed atm.
just enough for the OS and a couple of games should be ok
maybe 80gb or just less

Using an 80GB Intel as boot drive and very happy with it. Performance is good and reliable so far. Latest firmware supports TRIM also.

Not really but i prefer to get all my hardware from the same place if poss
Anyway went for the OCZ Vertex Series 60GB in the end ;)

arrived today in the usualy Ocuk super fast time..
unfortunately im still waiting for a water block from another not so punctual supplier
I might bang it in my current systme just to have a play :D

1.5 introduced trim support. OCZ website has file if you need it with great installation guide.

You won't be sorry you bought one. I have the vertex turbo and I can't believe the difference it makes. Win 7 loads in about 28 seconds lol

Just wish they'd come down in price. Only thing I need in my system to make it complete. System is so quiet and cool apart from the HDD's crunching away, so annoying:(
