Hi, All
Ok I’m starting to finalize my spec for my new build but the main area I’m having trouble with is the SSD. I’ve narrowed them down to these three: OCZ Vertex Limited Edition : Crucial RealSSD C300 : Corsair Force Series F100.

Anyone had any experience with these drives? I’ve read a few reviews most of them conflicting, I hear there are few problems with the Crucial degrading quickly-

Any advice would be brilliant

if you want the best firmware updates then go for ocz

ocz are ahead of the pack when it comes to this

ocz drives are faster than the specs

crucial are good but the new drive is having a lot of teething problems

you will need sata3 for c300 drive

this is my 2x ocz agility ssd raid0 benchmark after 10 months use and faster than a single c300 with over 300mbs write and 395mbs read http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18128029

OCZ specs for single 30gb agility:-
Read: Up to 185 MB/s
Write: Up to 100 MB/s

compare specs and my speeds on the bench its a lot faster than 2x manufacturer specs......thats why ocz rox

i want to upgrade to 3x vertex turbo raid0

a lot i read rated the Intel X25-M G2 also - in fact i ended up buying one and am happy - but make sure its the G2

Go for an Intel G2, It's tried, tested and you get more GB for your money.
The Crucial C300's and Sandforce drives (Vertex LE, Corsair F100) haven't proven themselves in the long run yet.

If you really need speed, put a couple of 80GB G2's in RAID0, don't worry about the lack of TRIM - the speed boost from Striping more than makes up for any degredation.
