Hi guys, I have a asus P5K.. which is SATA 2
Now my current HD is getting way to slow and small, Iam constantly having to back stuff up to disk.
I was looking for a SSD and a TB drive.
The c300 64gig seem like a nice drive but from what I can see its not gonna be that fast unless I run it at stat 3 - from what I can see the "Asus U3S6 USB3.0 & SATA 6Gbps PCI-Express Controller Card [U3S6]" won't work in my mobo
The SSD, will hold win7 and a couple of game, all my other stuff will be in the TB drive, I was looking at the Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB SATA-II 64MB Cache - OEM (WD10EARS) or for the extra few quid the 2tb model. Or would I be better buying a cheaper model ?
So can anyone recommend me a good a better set up or do i need a SATA 3 controller card ?
