which ssd?

hey all
so last time i looked at getting an ssd the M4 was the drive of choice?

is this still the case or is there a better one?

the pro is the fastest and uses multi level cell nand which is longer lasting,the non pro is slower and uses cheaper triple level cell nand which doesn't have as long a life span but will still last 10years+

not sure,the intel uses the sandforce controller,samsungs use there own

not sure on which would be best long term as each use different qulity nand memory and different controllers

I think Samsung basic has 3 year warranty vs intels 5

sam pro has 5 year warranty

have you seen the Toshiba ssd's posted in this thread? they look ok but I havnt read up on them too much also have 5 year warranty

hmmm, seems to be not definitive one.....unlike when it was purley the m4! haha
well im looking at getting one off the MM to save some cash.
so toshiba is out of the question really.
