I had a spec check thread not too long ago but I have another decision to make now.

Which one of these systems do you think I should get?

The NVIDIA (3D 120Hz) route:

And the AMD (IPS panel) route:

So which one do you think?

Thanks,

It depends if you want the Z68 features and are happy with a Micro ATX board.

Z68:

1. LucidLogix Virtu (universal switchable graphics/GPU virtualisation)
2. Intel Quick Sync Video Technology (Way faster media transcoding than what only CPU or only discrete graphics card has to offer) if the software supports it
3. Intel Smart Response Technology (SSD caching- faster performance of SSD + large storage capacity of a regular HDD)

Ewwww Micro? That can't be good for my e-peen. Looks like its the P67 for me then. :D

I really don't think I'll use the extra features of a z68 mobo, although integrated graphics may be good for trouble shooting.

Also I think I'll get the Dell monitor now and then upgrade with another monitor later, with some 3D spectacles!

Might be worth thinking about the MSI P67A-GD53 if you ever wanna CF/SLI...just throwing it out there:DIt's not in stock at the moment but hopefully won't be too long, if you can't wait or not bothered about CF/SLI ignore this post:p

I'll look into it, it's in stock at another establishment, which also happens to be cheaper. If I buy from there and seek help on this forum will it be frowned upon?

Change that mobo. The C45 offers you very little for very little money.

Drop down to 4GB RAM and spend the difference on the mobo. You'll thank me 6 months down the line when you want e-peen surgery and are gagging to go CF or SLI.
Haha-surgery....I don't even- so good.

Which mobo would you recommend? I currently have the MSI P67A-GD53 in my basket. Also will P67 mobo's start getting less support now they've been outdated?
