Which tablet?

Been after a tablet for a while now. I have ~£80 to spend. Will be gaming and viewing PDFs.

The Blackberry Playbook looks fantastic, especially with BB10 rumoured to be coming to it soon. But the app store just looks... bad to me. Very little content in there. At least there are Gameboy emulators and such.

Does anyone know of a better alternative for £80? Was going to try for a used Nexus but the used prices are pretty poor, £10~£20 or so under the new prices.

Don't think you will be able to play decent games with a 80 pound tablet to be honest.

You could keep looking in the MM for a second had nexus 7 probably get one for a little more than 80

The Playbook actually has decent hardware for £80. Just a shame they've castrated it with BBOS/Blackberry App World. (I bet if they made it possible to install Android they'd sell a hell of a lot more)

The Nexus 7 that most recently sold in MM was £120 shame since I tried one earlier and loved it.

Stretch to £100? Acer Iconia B1, 7" no idea how it performs though

Hmm it doesn't look too bad, 512MB RAM is a bit irritating and I'm not sure I'm a fan of that big blue strip round the outside. But deffo one to consider. Thankyou

A bit wary of OcUK tabs cause of some of the specs on the others being wrong. Plus it's only a single core

IMO there is no point buying a tablet for £80... Save up a little?
