Which titles to play in what order!?!

Uncharted would be my first choice and if you have a go at getting all the trophies then it will keep you busy for a while (I only have to complete it on crushing to get the platinum trophy :P).

Out of the other games you already have I would play

* F1 CE
* Motorstorm
* Super Stardust HD
FIFA 09
GT5 Prologue
Wipeout HD

Wouldn't bother with the others as they are not really my cup of tea. Have you thought about trying Warhawk, burnout paradise, pixeljunk monsters or pixeljunk eden?

I must be really odd as I can't stand shooters with a k/b and mouse. Yes I can play them to a good standard, but I just don't like it as much as a controller. If the 360/PS3 were to release k/b and mouse support, i'd probably not notice any difference, as i've never seen a massive difference between good console players and good pc players.

Cheers guys for the replies - I started R&C yesterday as I thought it would be short and I havent played a 3D platformer since probably Soul Reaver.

Ive heard good/bad things about Warhawk, enough for me to think that something like SOCOM might be better to get (I want the BT headset :p) and Ive played Burnout Paradise and thought the whole having to drive fast and hope you miss something that will ruin your whole race looked like it would get frustrating. Might rent it though...

Heard of the Pixeljunk games but no idea what they are...

ps3ud0 :cool:

Soul Reaver was excellent!!! I have not heard bad stuff about Warhawk from anyone who has played it extensively tbh. A couple of people who have not played it much constantly **** it off on these forums, but I guess they didn't like it so their choice.

Burnout Paradise, I can't get enough off, Am even tempted to replay the whole game again for the trophies (even though I said I wouldn't, but after completing the game there is little left to do, (don't worry it took me 100 hours of fun to complete!!))

I really really like Monsters (2nd game) and Eden (3rd game). Racers (1st game) waste of money imo.

As pick up for 10-30 minute type games (which I guess is what most XBLA/PSn games aim for) they are unbeatable for value imo.

If you have a USA account there is a special offer atm. I think if you have (or buy) Monsters. Then if you buy Eden you get the add-on pack (extra levels) for Monsters free.

In their own way, they are both "puzzley" games (Monsters is a Tower Defence game and Eden, hard to describe) so if puzzlers aren't your thing, avoid.

Personally I'd play Resistance and Motorstorm first, these are where the PS3 started. With sequels coming out soon, if you don't play them now then you probably ever won't bother.

Problem is as a FPS its probably not something Id get into on the PS3 - but I have picked up the US demo that came out last week. Im really only getting SOCOM cos of the headset (dont think it comes out on its own).

Bah you are making me regret not picking it up for £10 when I saw it :(

Hmmm Ill hunt for some gameplay vids :)

@JBeck/mcwildcard - I guess those are my first games to play, got them 'free' with my PS3 so not that worried - but it makes sense :p

Not played SOCOM, but it WILL be better, of that I have no doubt.

That's like "I've not heard anything good about it from anyone who's played it for 5 minutes".

You wouldn't play extensively if it was rubbish!

I heard good things about Resistance...

Resistance is an above average shooter, the storyline premise is cool and the weapons are brilliant. I purchased it recently for a tenner and it is worth every penny (not that that's hard), many people gave up on the game early and with good reason; it started out as an incredibly repetitive and uninteresting shooter for the first hour, after that it significantly improved. I like to think it was insomniac familiarizing themselves with the architecture of the PS3 as they created the game, the graphics for example begin as what i would consider below average but progressively improve to become some of the best the PS3 offers, especially in the near-end sections with massive battles. The underground bunker levels really stood out to me as incredibly tense and exciting, they looked good to boot.

Did i mention you should get Uncharted ps3ud0? Oh i did? Then get it!

[EDIT]

Also, Nokkon, i'd like to add that i didn't really like Warhawk when i first got it, however many things have been changed and added via free patches that have made a rather significant impact on the enjoyability of the game. If you still have it give it another try and see if you like it, i really love it now, however if you've gotten rid of your copy obviously don't bother re-obtaining it, i imagine there's a good chance the game just isn't for you.
