Which to buy?

im going to be upgrading my system soon, im using an nvidia amd board with a gt220 and some crap ddr2 memory, i bought it to use for playing cs:s and lfd2 etc but now im going to be buying newer more demading games, im just wondering whether to get the older 4850 and run in crossfire or buy one 5770 for now, have the benefits of dx11 etc in the future and possibly crossfire later on...
so option 1.

personally id go for the 5770 as more future proof and like you said can always crossfire down the line

5770, also try this ram it has lower timing which is good for AMD memory controller.

5770 no doubt mate, just recently bought mine and its a beauty at that price point, most overclock very admirably as well, cant go wrong here.
