You are forgetting to factor in a new PSU as well because you more than likely will need that 1000-1200watt upgrade assuming running it out of the box, so another £250 odd to splash on.
I would have added power usage by the 4090 too but in reality you can lock the power to 65% and still beat a 3090 Ti whilst consuming half the watts almost so there is that I suppose with all those cores running nice and cool and silent... No 30 series can manage that sort of thing.
I'd have the iPhone, then sell it and get myself a Samsung for the better camera
I plan on upgrading to a 4080 this year and have skipped the iPhone 14 Pro Max because I already have the 13 Pro Max. Getting a next gen GPU is a higher priority than a very incremental upgrade of my iPhone.
I voted phone as i don't have use for the other, however my own choice earlier this year was a new old phone that was over 1k when new ,ceramic, 120hz qhd + 12gig ram optical zoom ect ect ect the only thing it lacks is wireless charging but tbh it only needs 2o mins on superfast on a morning it was £300 at the time
