Suppose it comes down to your requirements.

Are you likely to go to Europe?
Is the bluetooth hands-free functionality of benefit?

If we're talking Fabia vRS - of course not. We all know it's the fastest car in the world! No upgrade is possible.

No upgrade is necessary. Does everything I need. Even has satnav courtesy of a £15 app on my iPhone, which also gets free map updates. :D

.... aaaaaand back to TomTom's!

I heard that anything with a 2 next to the title has had it's features set reduced and had the SD slot removed. Not sure if the SD slot is replaced by USB connection to the PC or not.

If you're not too fussed about that then have you considered the 'TomTom XL 2 IQ'? It's about 80 quid in the rainforest.

Actually, I bought the 135 in the end so this thread is redundant...

Thanks Nickxx all the same for all your suggestions. :)

No probs.

Fwiw - I had to use iPhone navigation in America earlier this week, worked ok. Had to rent some cheapo V8 Mustang which didn't have nav.

The perception of a typical Mustang driver in the states is one of no class, redneck with a gun in the glove compartment :p

Although I do like them, the car, not the rednecks.
