Which torrent client

Utorrent for me. If you go to Preferences and then Advanced you can turn off all the ad settings so its just like the paid version

Same, been running Utorrent for many years and turned off all the add crap and it has no issues maxing out a 380Mbps connection if there are plenty of seeders (3.5.5 beta). I set mine to 650 global connections, 150 peers per torrent and 8 upload slots per torrent. Been working great for years.

I still use uTorrent 2.2 and have done for many years. See no reason to change it as it works perfectly and has a tiny footprint.

Another for qbit here, utorrent became annoying the second they monetised it as far as I'm concerned.

Been using Deluge for the last 5 years since having my own home sever and having that run all my download tasks. Never looked back tbh.

I have decided to remove my torrent client and be the end of downloading via torrents.

No more torrent downloading from me.

I agree!

The only apparent updates post v2.2.1 seem to have been the addition of advertisements raising v2.2.1’s 390KB file size to well over 1MB.
