Yeah I remember looking at the new LGs - but the issue there is I'm torn on whether the improvement is worth it, since it's basically /only/ a refresh rate bump for me. It's annoying because I'm near the top end to the point where the upgrade paths are minimal but I want to upgrade 
Ideally I'd like multiple attribute bumps. Size / Resolution / Refresh / HDR(10?) / Contrast Ratio. The LGs seem to boil down to just a 45hz-69hz bump without really doing much else.. This is why I'm looking at the X35 (and whatever the ASUS equivalent model is called, I forget - but it has ASUS tax so...) since the X35 is +125hz, supposedly HDR10, +1inch (every inch counts I'm told
)... I don't think there's anything else in the pipeline that will outdo it for quite some time, but also since it's a VA panel it could be a ghostmonster
