Hey girls :)

Looking for a VGA water block, the final piece ofmy watercooling setup, to complete the bunch. I'm using an 8800GT but i'd rather not spend £50 on a full cover block for a card i will replace soon and wont be worth anythign to sell. So really, i'm swinging towards the VGA Core Blocks.

Which one is best? low restriction preferable, i'm trying to keep the noise down as it's on a bench... but it has to be pretty too, since it will be on show ;)

Thanks! :)

The Swiftech MCW60R is the one I see recommended the most so short of digging out some comparisons this would be my recommendation. Swiftech also do some interesting extension plates for use with the MCW60R, they cost less than a full cover block but are neater and less fiddly than ram/pwm sinks

If it's on a bench - AC Accelero S1 Rev. 2 run passively (will lower the overall heat load of the loop too)

But secondhand DD maze 4 or 5 blocks or even a silverprop ones will do the job with less reastriction that the swiftech (it's not as if the 8800gt is a uber hot card)
But do agree with ecat - the swiftech extension plates are very nice.

Not seen any on MM for a while, but it's worth an ask.

Hey guys

I cant find links to these extension plates anywhere. TBH this whole thing has been a bloody nightmare :(

Any ideas? a product number or name would be excellent.
