Looking for some water cooling for my pc as the noise levels from it can get quite high, quieter the cooling solution the better.

System: AMD FX55 , 2gb ram , 2 sata 80gb raid 0 , 1 sata storage drive, 2 x 7800 gt extreme editions , asus sli premium.

So need a water cooling which is quiet and effective , all for around £200 maby £250.

Any suggestions?

go custom look at danger den they are excellent water cooling kit... all 1/2" or 3/8"... google water cooling and you will eventually find a UK danger den stocker sorry i cant tell you the address its a competitor.

Been looking at a number of reviews and i like the Swiftech H20-220 Apex "Ultra" Watercooling Kit and a vga block from ocuk. That and the philips 20" widescreen tft should just about finish my rig.

Shame they dont do storm waterblock any more. I got one when they was discontinued and they was in clearance :D I only have the cpu block and 1 nv78 waterblock but the swiftech kit ment to be really good.

******* (A UK re-seller of dangerden products) screwed me bigtime - I've since heard similar people having the same problem.

They sent me AMD blocks instead of the intel ones, I even had the email confirmation saying intel blocks.

So i agreed to pay to ship them back, sent them back in original packaging untouched, I then recieved an email a few days later from them with a picture of the package which had been ripped open, and no suprise the blocks were "missing".

I then had to pay for 2 new blocks, taking total cost to roughly £100 over what I'd just spent.

I've since heard people having the same problem with them.. maybe it's just coincidence, I however will never shop there again.

*I'd like to add that i've never recieved or heard of anyone having bad service directly from dangerden.*

However, most folks in UK buy DangerDen gear from a UK Store rather than direct from DangerDen in US, thus negating that problem. Buying from source may be cheaper, but lacks a few benefits for when things go pearshaped... as well as removes the necessity of one paying shipping charges back to the US for any RMAs that may arise and the inevitable farce that is the UK > US Postal service (which should NEVER be relied upon).

well you must just have unfortunate luck... i have built a few systems now all with danger den kits in and all went smoothly...but yes i would recommend there stuff to anyone looking for a top notch cooling kit :)
