I have gone back to Chrome, Firefox was just not working for me.
I'm finding it a bit slower than Chrome and Firefox seems to be slower when using the Bitwarden extension. Overall I prefer Chrome.Could you elaborate?
I am mostly using Safari again on my MacBook since I managed to upgrade the OS, but also have Firefox which is a good alternative when Safari doesn’t play ball (e.g. DNS stuff).
Say what? I'm still running uBlock Origin! When did it stop being supported?I thought I might have to switch from Chrome to Firefox when uBlock Origin stopped being supported, but uBlock Origin Lite has been just as good if not better.
Wasn't it originally called Firebird? Which is why the email client is Thunderbird. Didn't something else called Firebird exist so Mozilla had to rename the browser? Couldn't work out why they didn't make Thunderbird become Thunderfox, for continuity and to avoid any possible legal action from Gerry Anderson!?I've used Firefox since I first knew about it, that was over 20 years ago.
Recently, read the section on manifest v3 here:Say what? I'm still runbning uBlock Origin! When did it stop being supported?
Ah, the Chromium Manifest v3 issue. I only use Chrome for work so I'll stick with uBlock Origin with FF.Recently, read the section on manifest v3 here:
uBlock Origin - Free, open-source ad content blocker.
uBlock Origin is not just an “ad blocker“, it's a wide-spectrum content blocker with CPU and memory efficiency as a primary feature. Developed by Raymond Hill.ublockorigin.com
That I have no idea about! All I know is that they 'borrowed' the source code from Netscape & used it as a template for Firefox IIRC.Say what? I'm still running uBlock Origin! When did it stop being supported?

I'm using Edge but thinking of trying another browser as i keep getting random pauses on Youtube.
It's not buffering, it is as if i have pressed the pause button.
Have the H264ify extension, but does not help.
Should have said, i added the extension because i read it may help.Odd - I don't use that extension (basically just use uBlock) and it's absolutely fine and doesn't have any adverts on there thanks to the aforementioned uBlock
Have you tried it with the extension disabled?
