Firefox at home

IE8 at work (mainly due to compatibility reasons with various bits of kit with web interfaces + the microsoft volume licensing site doesnt seem to like firefox)

I've used them all for long periods of time, I never used to use Internet Explorer. I format every few months, but since my last format I've been using Internet Explorer 8.

It's great, It just works and I've not had a problem with it.

Been looking at the different choices on the Browser Choice screen and trying out K-Meleon and Flock. Neither are impressing me so far :(

Firefox. Too stuck in my ways to change to anything else.

After briefly using Chrome on another machine I've been a little tempted to change, but I don't really trust the big G anymore.

Firefox with adblock plus and script block. Tried Chrome and it lacks simple things like a simple arrow in the URL bar to drop down a list of pages you have visited. You have to open your history rather than seeing a simple list of URLs like in Firefox!

Adblock is quality and blocks so much crap when browsing. I don't even know how I lived without it before!

All chrome needs is a basic drop down list of past urls and I'd probably try it again.

In my office we use IE 8 as it's compatible with technet, etc but I'm based at a large client site and they still use IE6! No tabbed browsing makes me sad. What is it with a company that has well over 30,000 employees in the UK not using a better browser! XP, Office 2003 and IE6 is the order of the day :(

A pretty even split between IE8 and FireFox as I need to both for various things.

If I had to choose it would be difficult, but probably IE8 because I have less crashes and problems with it than FireFox (over several machines) for some reason.

I was using FF with ad-block but kept getting the server error so I've switched to Chrome and it's much better. Have the dictionary and ad-block extensions installed. Ad block doesn't work as good in chrome as it does in FF though as it just hides the ads in Chrome as opposed to blocking them altogether in firefox.

Same. Chrome does impress me in terms of speed and simplicity but it's just too basic. Can't live without the Firefox URL bar and the Adblock extension. The current version of Firefox is starting to look dated, but the Firefox 4 pre-release builds are shaping up nicely.
