Which Web Browser?

Used to use IE all the time, but switched to Chrome a couple of years ago as I was having an issue with IE (can't remember what offhand).

I like the sync option; has all my favs there in seconds after a reinstall, although I used to have a .reg file set up for IE so I could repoint the favourites location which took equally long as Chrome's sync ;).

Chrome still has a few compatibility issues with some sites, but overall I like it. Haven't really used IE10 in anger yet.

I used to use Chrome but since Windows 8 im on IE10, ironically though using the desktop app as I don't like the metro one. I prefer it because when in fullscreen mode with the bar set not to hide it takes up less space than Chrome/FF do, very minimalistic.

IE10 with Fanboys TPL AdBlocker works for me. Used to really like Opera but if just has too many issues with random sites for me now. FF just feels bloaty and buggy these days although I can see what people that want a gabillion add ons would still use it. Chrome was good when it trounced everything else for speed but seems to have lost it's shine for me these days with IE10 as fast if not faster and without the lingering privacy concerns I have with Chrome.

They all pretty much work though so it's just personal choice

Hey guys, I'm thinking of becoming a Christian. Should I become a Catholic, Anglican, Evangelical, Presbyterian or a Jehova's Witness?

To be fair, the "browser wars" are quite civilized with the exception the ABIE crowd (Anything But IE)

All the major browsers are comparable. You can pretty much choose based on nuances these days.

I have been loyal to MS software for years (and currently daily use a windows phone). i used IE variations for 13 years.

I tried Chrome in 2010, for the first time, and after a couple of days of getting used to the controls (which was trying) there was no going back.

It pains me turning on the computer at my workplace and having to use the cumbersome IE that will often close down (alright, only once a week or 3/4 days) due to a random fault. Not the end of the world. Just click away and start again.

Never had to do that with Chrome in the last 3 years.

And, it remembers all my pw's/favourites

Been using Chrome + ABP exclusively for a while now and still really like it. I'm aware of the memory leaks but can't say it's effected me or anyone else I've installed it for.

I was a FireFox user until around the v8 mark when it became so bloated that video streaming was taking a major hit in my usage.

just gone with chrome for the first time, been using i.e 8 i think for the past few years. Already the spell check on posting on the forum has amazed me lol. I will finally look like i can spell

I like Chrome features but it is in no way as smooth as firefox when scrolling.

I prefer Firefox for that reason ;)

Waterfox. Used to use Chrome but since I've started using KeePass, the Chrome add on is so poor compared to KeeFox for Firefox.
