Which wired Mouse?

If you've been happy with your MX518, just get another one. Otherwise the G9 is worth considering (love mine) but unless you have the chance to test out a few different models, it's always going to be a bit of a gamble.
 
Well I got the Mx518 in the end, They seem to have changed the base a little (for the better) Instead of having four little glide pads, one at each corner, they have opted to use a big pad on the top and bottom with a little pad on the left.

It's just better now :)

I also bought my first ever mouse mat lol :) How did I ever manage without one.

You know how you can change the DPI of the mouse, well you have to use one DPI setting lower than your used to with a mat(so I feel anyway)

It's a steelseries OCK mini mat, only £5.

Anyhooo, what a sad life I must lead huh? :)
 
Well i'm going to continue this thread as i too am in the market for a new mouse for my brother. It's for his birthday but not sure what to get, i personally use a habu but that wont really work with the red theme he's got going on with his scout case. I was thinking about a red lachesis, i've heard mainly good things but there has been one or two off comments on them. What would you guys get in my position, don't really want to go over 50 quid if i can help it.
 
I have a G9 which is the best mouse i have ever owned. Very good ergonomically, reliable and most importantly to you WIRED
 
Ok silly question, are there any mice that I quiet on the clicking side, my current MX510 is very noisy, and the missus is threatening to strangle me with the cord :(
