Currently using a Netgear WN111v2 USB wireless device on my desktop. Lately been having issues with it disconnecting from the router and then failing to reconnect. I'm currently just using the windows utility and not the Netgear software as that causes it to disconnect every 20-30 seconds when playing games.

Get errors like:
"The IP address lease 10.109.42.162 for the Network Card with network address 0x0024B24D8334 has been denied by the DHCP server 192.168.0.1 (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message)."

Skype causes it to disconnect from the router every time I try and make a video call (usually cuts out between 2-10 minutes into the call) and then refuses to reconnect unless you wait 5 mins or restart the computer.

It's my understanding the pci/pci-e wireless cards are more reliable than the USB equivalents. I've read to stay away from ASUS cards as they have lots of problems.

I'm running win 7 ult 64 and connecting to a Netgear DGN2000 router.

Any advice?

Thanks.
